IDDBA 2026 Recap: What We Showed, What We Heard, What Comes Next

What we showed at Booth 1832

We brought the full picture to Orlando, from the container in your hand to the film that keeps your product fresh and the machine to make it all come together.

Our container selector tool allowed anyone to choose the right option for their particular need whether it was dairy, deli or bakery products. It isn't just about fit, it's about what it does for your product's shelf life and presentation.

We highlighted our film solutions as well. The right film affects everything from seal integrity and moisture barrier performance to how your product looks through the package at point of sale. It's a small detail with a big impact.

Our machines also drew serious interest, particularly the models with optional Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP)add-ons. For anyone wrestling with freshness and waste, it's a game changer.

Together, these solutions work as a system and that's the conversation we kept having at the booth.

What we heard

Clean labels are now the baseline. Shoppers expect transparency and minimal ingredients as a given, not a premium. They also want their everyday staples to work harder: more protein, less sodium, functional ingredients that actually do something. That's a packaging challenge as much as a formulation one.

The deli is the new restaurant. Tighter budgets haven't killed the appetite for elevated food, they've moved it home. Hybrid meals combining ready-to-heat convenience with premium artisanal components are taking off. Keeping those premium products protected, fresh, and shelf-stable through the supply chain is everything.

Shoppers are overwhelmed-packaging has to do the heavy lifting. Decision fatigue is real. Consumers are buying with their eyes, often on impulse. Increasingly, that impulse is triggered by something they saw on TikTok 20 minutes ago. Gen Z's buying power is only growing, and they want transparent packaging that shows freshness instantly, with bold ingredient callouts front and center.

What comes next?

Every one of these trends points back to the same core challenge: packaging that protects, communicates, and performs.

Teinnovations specializes in shelf life extension technology that goes beyond standard approaches, targeting the specific properties of your product to keep it fresher for longer. For premium deli and hybrid meal components, that means less spoilage, less waste, and a product that looks as good at home as it did in the store. For clean label and transparency goals, we design packaging that puts your best attributes front and center, visible freshness, clear callouts, nothing hidden.

And when your challenge doesn't fit a standard solution? That's exactly where we do our best work.
