What to Look for at PACK EXPO 2026 (And Why Our Booth Belongs on Your List)
PACK EXPO International is back in Chicago this month and it’s big. More than 2,600 exhibitors and 48,000-plus attendees will fill McCormick Place from October 18 to 21. That’s a lot of aisles and a lot of people promising to change your packaging line.
So here’s our advice: go in with a plan. Know the problems you’re trying to solve before you get to the floor and spend your time with people who can help you solve them from start to finish. We’d like to be one of those stops. Here’s what the Teinnovations team is bringing to Booth #W-43038 this year.
1. Films built for the job
Lidding films, barrier films and pouches each do different work. Some keep out oxygen and moisture. Some need to peel cleanly. Some have to survive high pressure processing (HPP). Our team can help you figure out which film properties actually matter for your product, so you aren’t paying for features you don’t need.
2. Containers matched to your product, not the other way around
The right container depends on what goes inside it, how it’s processed and how long it needs to last on the shelf. We’ll have a range of trays, cups and containers at the booth so you can see and handle the options in person. Bring your product specs and we’ll talk through what fits.
3. Tray sealing with MAP options
If you seal in-house, or you’re thinking about it, stop by to see our tray sealers up close. We’ll also walk through optional modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) add-ons. MAP replaces the air inside a package with a gas blend that slows spoilage, which can extend shelf life without changing your recipe.
4. Build your package on the spot with the My Total Package Tool
Not sure where to start? We’ll have a screen set up at the booth running our My Total Package Tool. Enter your product’s parameters and the tool will suggest a matching combination of containers, film and equipment. It gives you a starting point in minutes and our team will be right there to talk through the results with you.
5. One partner from concept to commercialization
This part doesn’t fit on a display table. Most packaging problems aren’t only a container problem, a film problem, or an equipment problem. They’re usually all three at once. Teinnovations works across containers, films, sealing equipment, and processes like MAP and HPP, so we can look at the whole picture with you. That applies to food, medical and sterile applications.
We’re also SQF (Safe Quality Food) certified, so food safety is part of how we work.
6. A little friendly competition
We’re keeping the details quiet for one more week, but here’s a hint: this year, our booth comes with a challenge. Think you know your films from your foils and your MAP from your HPP? You’ll want to test that in person. There may be something in it for the top scorer. Check back next Tuesday for the full reveal.
